Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of qrop.app and the services provided through it ("Qrop"). By creating an account or using Qrop, you agree to them. If you use Qrop on behalf of a business, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm that you are authorised to do so. If you do not agree, do not use Qrop.

What Qrop is

Qrop lets local businesses publish a page and run a loyalty programme for their customers. Customers join a business by scanning its QR code, check in on their visits, claim the rewards it offers, leave reviews and message it. Qrop provides the platform only: we are not a party to the relationship between a business and its customers, and we are not responsible for a business's products, services or premises.

Your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with Google. Keep access to that email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • An account is for one person and may not be transferred.

Rewards

Rewards are offered by businesses, not by Qrop. Each business sets its own rewards, the rules for earning them, and when they expire, and may change or withdraw them. A check-in may need to be confirmed by the business before it counts. Qrop does not guarantee that any business will honour a reward, and rewards have no cash value unless the business says otherwise.

If you run a business page
  • You are responsible for everything on your page. It must be accurate and lawful, and you must have the right to use every name, logo and photo you publish.
  • You must honour the rewards you publish under the rules you set, or withdraw them.
  • You are responsible for how you use your customers' personal information, including any you export from Qrop. You must comply with data protection and marketing laws: only send promotions to customers who opted in, and honour every request to stop.
  • Treat your customers with respect in messages, and do not use their information for anything other than your relationship with them.
  • Text from Qrop's AI features is a suggestion. Review it before you publish it, as you are responsible for it.

Reviews and other content

You keep ownership of the reviews, messages, photos and other content you post on Qrop. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and adapt that content as needed to operate and promote Qrop. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has been shared with others who have not deleted it.

Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine experience. We may remove any content that breaks these Terms or the law, without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Qrop for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
  • impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your connection with one;
  • fake check-ins, manipulate rewards, or post fake or paid-for reviews;
  • send spam, or collect other users' personal information without their consent;
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with Qrop or its servers, or upload anything malicious.

Fees

Qrop is free for customers. Building a business page is free; switching it on is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. A monthly plan starts with 60 free days: we take your card when the trial starts and charge it when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then, in which case you pay nothing. A yearly plan has no trial and is charged when you start it. If you ask us within 30 days of a yearly payment, we refund it in full and switch your page off.

The subscription renews until you cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and apart from the 30-day yearly refund we don't refund part periods unless the law requires it. You see the price, currency and any taxes before you pay. A founding price stays the same for as long as that subscription continues. If we change the standard price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Intellectual property

The Qrop name, logo, software and the design of the platform belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use them, other than to use Qrop as intended.

Third-party services

Qrop works with services provided by others, such as Sign in with Google, and business pages may link to other websites. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

Qrop is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Qrop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Qrop or from your dealings with any business on it. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

If you run a business page, you agree to compensate Qrop for any claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your page, your rewards, or how you use your customers' information.

Ending your use of Qrop

You can stop using Qrop at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users at risk or exposes us to legal liability, and where we can, we will tell you why.

Changes

We may change Qrop and these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page and change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we will let you know through Qrop or by email. If you keep using Qrop after a change, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Qrop's operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Qrop about your use of it.
