Founded in 2007 by Melanie-Jane (Ngāti Porou) and Clayton Smith, we started with a shared love for visiting local studios and a desire to connect New Zealand artists with everyday homes.
Our galleries in Ponsonby and Newmarket showcase authentic Māori taonga, original paintings, pounamu carvings, ceramics, glass, wall sculpture and artisan jewellery. We represent both established names and emerging makers across Aotearoa, helping collectors and gift-givers discover pieces made with care and meaning.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday via tracked courier. Orders placed before noon are sent the same day, with New Zealand delivery usually taking 2 to 5 working days.
We offer framing services for the artists we represent, with a curated selection of mouldings available in store. Turnaround is typically around two weeks.
Yes, layby is available on New Zealand orders in store with a one-third deposit, or 50% for commissioned works, paid off within six weeks.
