Our business began in 1996 as a small chocolate pop-up shop before finding our permanent home in the vintage shops of Parnell Village. Over the years, we expanded into neighbouring stores, standing out early on by offering late-night coffee and chocolate when few others did.
Today, our cafe and store offer over one hundred chocolates, including truffles, pralines, and nutty rochers. We work with seven local chocolatiers who use Belgian Callebaut chocolate and local ingredients for their fillings, alongside imported ranges from France and Belgium. We also serve hot sticky date pudding, mud cake, waffles, and hot drinks. Whether you are after a late-night dessert or a thoughtful gift box, we are here to help.

FAQs
We do not take bookings for regular visits, so please just walk in. Tables turn over regularly, so you will usually find a seat quickly. High Teas do require booking 48 hours in advance.
Dogs are not permitted inside, but you are welcome to sit with your restrained dog on our front deck or the back patio.
Yes, our chocolates have no added gluten. We also offer vegan chocolates with no added dairy or animal products, and sugar-free diabetic options.
Yes, we ship across New Zealand and internationally. Domestic orders are sent via NZ Post with next business day delivery, dispatched Tuesday to Friday.
