We are Auckland's underground movie theatre, located directly beneath the Auckland Central Library. Our cinema screens a wide mix of independent releases, international cinema, classic retrospectives, and local films.
Our two-screen venue features a full-size 211-seat main theatre alongside an intimate 16-seat boutique space. We also have a fully licensed bar serving Garage Project craft beer, New Zealand wines, cocktails, barista-made coffee, fresh popcorn, and hand-rolled chocolate-dipped ice cream cones.

We are located underground below the Auckland Central Library, with our entrance on Rutland Street.
The Civic Carpark is located directly across the street from us, with daytime hourly rates and flat evening and weekend rates.
Lift access is available through the Auckland Library lift, and accessible parking bays are located outside on Rutland Street. Please contact us in advance or ring the intercom at our entrance so our team can escort you.
Every Wednesday we offer $5 tickets for all standard movie sessions throughout the day, available for adults, seniors, students, and children.
We ask that patrons do not bring food or drinks from outside into our theatres. We have a fully licensed bar and concession stand offering drinks, coffee, snacks, and ice cream.
